Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Makeup mobile application ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Marsline Studio (marslinestudio.com), handles your information. The short version: the App works without an account, your photos are processed only to generate your try-on preview, and we do not store your photos on our servers.

1. Information we process

Photos you choose to provide. To use the App you select or take photos: a photo of yourself, and optionally reference photos of makeup looks, hairstyles, or outfits. These images necessarily include images of faces. Photos are used solely as described in Section 2.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details. The stores may share with us anonymized transaction confirmations needed to unlock your subscription.

Local app data. Settings such as your remaining free try-ons and subscription status are stored only on your device.

What we do NOT collect: we do not require an account; we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or precise location; we do not use advertising or tracking identifiers.

2. How your photos and face data are used

When you request a try-on, your selected photos are transmitted over an encrypted connection to Google's Gemini generative AI service (via Google Firebase) for the sole purpose of generating your preview image. Specifically:

• Photos are used only to generate the image you requested, in the moment you request it.
• We do not store your photos or generated images on our servers. Results exist only on your device unless you choose to save or share them.
• We do not use your photos to identify you, to build biometric profiles, or to train our own AI models.
• We do not sell your photos or any data derived from them, and we do not use them for advertising.

Face data disclosure. Your photos may contain your face. Face data is used exclusively to render the virtual makeup, hair, or outfit preview you requested. We retain no face data after your request completes. Our AI processing provider (Google) may temporarily retain submitted content for a limited period for abuse and safety monitoring in accordance with its own policies. 3. Data retention and deletion

Because we do not operate accounts and do not store your photos or results on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Generated images you saved remain in your device's photo library under your control. Deleting the App removes all locally stored app data.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on the following service providers, each processing data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase & Gemini API for AI image processing (Firebase privacy).
• Apple App Store / Google Play for payments and subscription management.

5. Security

All communication between the App and our service providers uses industry-standard encryption (TLS). Photos are processed in memory and are not written to our own storage systems.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the European Union or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we do not hold personal data about you on our systems, most of these rights are satisfied by design. For any privacy question or request, contact us at the address in Section 9 and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly process photos of children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us so we can assist.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App.
